I recently brought this air conditioner for my bedroom which is average size (approx 9 x 12) and this air conditioner did very little to cool my room. It took 6 hr to go from 85 degrees to 77 degrees in here. I am so disappointed that i am taking this unit back! Save yourself a headache and get another unit.

As a retired HVAC service installer I know A/C units.Do a heat load calculation (sg ft X 30= heat load) this unit will work well in a 200sq ft room or smaller.Haier has a good reputation in the industry and for the bucks$ you can’t beat this one. Lots of features, acceptable noise level and easy on the wallet, What more can you ask for??
